UKn Packaging Covenant
JUNISENT COURIER is a signatory of the UKn Packaging Covenant (APC), a voluntary initiative by government and industry to reduce the environmental effects of packaging. The APC aims to minimise the environmental impacts arising from the disposal of used packaging, conserve resources through better design and production processes and facilitate the re-use and recycling of used packaging materials.
As a signatory of the UKn Packaging Covenant we are committed to deliver a new and sustainable approach to packaging. We are working towards UK’s 2025 National Packaging Targets:
- 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging
- 70% of plastic packaging being recycled or composted
- 50% of average recycled content included in packaging (revised from 30% in 2020)
- The phase out of problematic and unnecessary single-use plastic packaging
You can learn about more about the APC on their website.
